TotalAV System Requirements

Supported Operating Systems:

  • Microsoft Windows 11

  • Microsoft Windows 10

  • Microsoft Windows 2025 Server

  • Microsoft Windows 2022 Server

Memory:

  • 2GB of RAM or higher.

Disk Space:

  • 2GB of Free Disk Space or higher.

Additional space for temporary and quarantine files needed.

CPU:

  • Dual Core CPU (Intel / AMD) or higher.

ARM-based Windows 11 devices and Windows 11 OS on ARM-based processors are NOT supported.

Additional Requirements:

  • To install TotalAV, administrator rights are required, as well as an internet connection.

  • Automatic updates require an internet connection and are required for optimal virus detection.

Supported Operating Systems:

  • Microsoft Windows 8.1

  • Microsoft Windows 8

  • Microsoft Windows 7 SP1 (Service Pack 1)

  • Microsoft Windows 2019 Server

  • Microsoft Windows 2016 Server

Memory:

  • 2GBs of RAM or higher.

  • 1.5GB of free disk space or higher.

  • Intel Pentium 4 / AMD Athlon 64 Processor or faster.

Windows devices on ARM-based processors are NOT supported.

Additional Requirements:

  • To install TotalAV, administrator rights are required, as well as an internet connection.

  • For some Mac's, you will have to install Rosetta 2 from Apple. This enables a mac with apple silicon to use apps built for a mac with an intel processor.

  • Automatic updates require an internet connection and are required for optimal virus detection.

  • Pair with Bluetooth devices

  • Delete all app cache data

  • Full network access

  • Close other apps

  • Run at startup

  • Control vibration

  • Prevent device from sleeping

  • Install shortcuts
